Log API fetch failures Tuesday 31st August 2021 11:58:00


We are currently experiencing a service disruption impacting the Menlo Security Log and Web Isolation

Users in the California region may be experiencing intermittent web isolation failures. Customers fetching logs from the log API may see failures.

The Menlo Security Operations team is working to identify the root cause and resolve as quickly as possible.

We will send an additional update in 20 minutes.

Update 19:15 UTC Menlo's hosting provider is reporting network connectivity issues to a datacenter. Menlo Operations has shifted log fetch traffic to our alternate log deployment. Menlo Operations is investing impact to egress traffic for California based users.

Update 19:35 UTC Menlo Operations has successfully shifted log fetch traffic to the alternate region and are observing no further errors. Menlo Operations has verified that there is no impact to web isolation traffic for California based users. Menlo Operations will be monitoring and waiting for updates from the hosting provider.

Update 20:40 UTC The Ireland region has also been identified as impacted by our hosting provider, however mitigations have been put in place and recovery is already underway. Menlo Operations will continue to monitor and assess for any potential impact to our services.

Update 00:45 UTC (Sept 1st) The hosting provider has confirmed that underlying issue in impacted regions has been fully resolved.
